Knutsford just got a whole lot more exciting now that the Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria hits town today, bringing a little bit of NYC with it.
New Moon Company, headed up by award-winning restaurateur Paul Newman and Celebrity Chef Patron David Mooney, have opened their eighth site, adding yet another unique offering to their growing portfolio of successful North West restaurants.
Located on Princess Street, this little beauty is one of a kind in that it offers a sassy drinks menu combined with a selection of pizzettas – small, wholesome pizzas bursting with flavour. Our crew of experienced mixologists have created an assortment of fun and funky cocktails, including Foam Alone II – Trashed in New York, Rosie & Gin, Uptown Girl, Englishman in New York and Bay Park Swizzle. These will be served alongside a selection of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks.
Our appetising pizzettas will have you think you’re in the thick of it, your own wedge of the Big Apple; from the Cheese Steak to the Fromage Homage, and from the Prawn & Pepper to the Duck & Bury. We’ve got it covered for all tastes and accommodating all flavours. We’ve even got some desert pizzettas for after – perfect.
With its cool, laid-back vibe, The Bronx Bar & Pizzetteria brings a twist to the scene. The high-end cocktails and laid-back food can be indulged whilst enjoying the hip hop beats that The City That Never Sleeps is famous for. With its industrial down and dirty feel customers can hear the sounds, taste the tastes and feel of New York from the comfort of Knutsford. Another plus is that reservations aren’t needed, making it a truly accessible place to hang out. People are free to pop down and enjoy the experience. It’s closed Monday/Tuesday, but open each other weekday from 5pm and weekends from 12pm until late.
Paul Newman, Managing Director, says: ‘We wanted to bring something different to Knutsford. There are 80 odd restaurants in the area on Trip Advisor but how many are bars? We wanted to create a sector in the market where people can just come down for a drink, not just to dine.’
Chef Patron David Mooney adds: ‘With each of our venues we bring a little twist of something fresh and exciting and we believe with Bronx we’ve done just that.’
