Moses Were and his artistic team, The Ark Collective, create the most powerful and striking true-to-life metal sculptures that are cherished by art lovers all over the world.
Bringing reclaimed metal back to life from his studio in Kenya, Moses and his Ark Collective demonstrate incredible skill, attention to detail and talent in each individual piece. With a collection that spans from 17ft giraffe sculptures to 8ft elephants, a 2ft high frog chorus, life size gorillas, rhinos, horses and even seasonal collections including reindeer, Moses and his artists capture every essence of nature’s most majestic creatures.
The popularity of the sculptures with art lovers worldwide has created a ripple effect of change in the local Kenyan community where Moses and his artists are based. In the last eighteen months the workforce has expanded from 3 to 22 artists to meet demand, creating employment opportunities. Moses has reinvested back into the business by doubling studio space, purchasing enhanced safety equipment and additional specialist tools for his team. Moses is committed to training his young artists, giving them a lifelong creative skill, while generating a regular supply that supports the village towards a sustainable future.
