Where should all well-heeled Cheshire ladies shop for Chester Races 2017? Hoity Toity Shoes in Tarporley of course!

I am totally in love with my job (not sure whether you’ve noticed!) because I am lucky enough to work with the very best independent lifestyle businesses throughout Cheshire – and Hoity Toity Shoes in Tarporley is no exception.

I met owners Tiffany and Steve just a couple of months ago and I was so incredibly impressed and excited about their gorgeous new Cheshire shoe shop – Hoity Toity Shoes.

Stocking some of the most stunning designer collections (some of them exclusively), Hoity Toity is the perfect destination for all well-heeled Cheshire ladies, and the perfect emporium for all special Cheshire occasions, including Chester Races (the Boodles May Festival is fast approaching 10th – 12th May).

We Love Cheshire visited Tiffany and Steve last week (we never ever come away empty handed having fallen totally in love with a pair of French Sole patent pumps and the Fairfax & Favor Regina boots) to find the perfect pair for next months race festival.

Our favourites were by far the Rupert Sanderson new mitra ravel strappy sandal in pinky red with gold underheel embellishment, the Alexander White Eva ruffle sandal in raspberry, the Pura Lopez Keliana patent leather strappy lace up mid-heel sandal (we LOVE the gorgeous orange colour) and the Alexander White Iman in gold nude and raspberry.

Here’s a little bit more info about these über-fabulous designers;

Rupert Sanderson’s philosophy is simply ‘less is more’ – the designs focus on perfecting the line, volume and material to flatter and lengthen the leg. Rupert Sanderson has his flagship store in Mayfair London. A firm favourite of red carpet events for Kate Middleton, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Victoria Beckham and many more. All of Rupert’s styles are named after Daffodils – how very British!

Founded in 2014, luxury shoe brand Alexander White offers chic and elegant shoes with a playful, youthful twist. Each shoe is designed in London and passionately handmade by skilled artisans on the outskirts of Florence, Italy. As a designer, Alexander is influenced by his surroundings, from architecture to antique jewellery, these influences are then interpreted in a modern and energetic way. The belief that a beautiful pair of shoes changes the way a woman presents herself to the world is what drives the design process and commitment to make women feel special. Foxes, Nicole Scherzinger and Yasmin Le Bon are all fans.

The origin of Pura Lopez dates back to 1956 when Mr. Antonio López Moreno began work in a small shoe workshop. Things have changed since, but their shoes are still made with the same craftmanship. “We are proud of our family tradition and we work to maintain our legacy with one objective in mind: offer our clients a carefully crafted high quality product of Spanish design”.

So if you’re stepping up the style this year for the races, or for any other occasion – you simply must visit Hoity Toity. And I will finish by adding that Tiffany and Steve are delightful people – very down to earth and very charming. Tiffany is particularly gorgeous in every way, and they will both be delighted to welcome you.

Needless to say we’re very lucky to have them, and their gorgeous shop in Cheshire …. and of course those lovely Cheshire housewives love them too! Thank you Ester Dee.
