Bolesworth sees surge in camping bookings for International Horse Show

This year, boasting everything from top-level dressage and showjumping to an exhilarating International Water Festival, the ever-expanding Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show, takes place from 14th to 18th June on the Bolesworth Estate, just outside Chester, Cheshire. Organisers are reporting a massive increase in year on year ticket sales, as well as a surge in overnight bookings as it makes improvements to camping areas and the VIP Glamping Festihut Village.

As part of the excitement, Bolesworth has teamed up with Festihut to create a spectacular glamping village, right on the edge of the action. The alternative two and four man chalets have their very own VIP section, which includes a chill out area for family and friends. Located right next to the main event, the glamping experience comes complete with beds, lighting and access to facilities. For those who prefer to be more at one with the outdoors, the stunning, family friendly camping and caravan site is located in a stunning grassed area, has seen massive improvements and is just a short walk from the showground.

Nina Barbour, Founder and President of The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show, comments: “Not only are we attracting world-class talent, visitors are also travelling from far and wide to enjoy what the show has to offer. As such, we have made sure that we are giving them the best welcome we can, not only through improvements to our camping and glamping sites, we have also added tons of new family entertainment and unrivalled hospitality. With space already almost at capacity, we are advising people to secure their pitch as soon as possible.”

Camping starts from just £24.50 for a pitch over the full five-day event and from £350 for a two man VIP Festihut. Show packages are available with overnight accommodation and access to the show for the full five-days. Children under 12 go free. With top international showjumpers, like John Whitaker, dressage riders and Olympic Gold medalists, such as Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester competing in the magnificent main show arenas, the event provides children and adults alike with a perfect introduction to an exciting array of world-class sport.

For the first time ever, Bolesworth welcomes the Pro Wakeboard Tour, running over the Saturday and Sunday, where some of the best wakeboarders in the world will battle it out in a head to head contest. Throughout the five-day event, when athletes are not competing, members of the public will be given the opportunity to have a go on the water themselves. There will also be the chance to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Water Zorbing too.
