Nourish Liverpool provides a superb Spa experience in an Exclusively female city sanctuary…

One of the many benefits of living in Chester is that Liverpool is literally just a stone’s throw away – and made even easier with a very efficient and great value rail link. So whenever I get an invite to experience anything lifestyle related over the water, I really don’t need too much persuasion.

Nourish Liverpool is described as an exclusively female lifestyle boutique – this is most definitely a luxurious sanctuary, undisturbed by its bustling city centre location. Just a couple of minutes walk from Moorfields – Nourish is located in Hatton Garden opposite the ever so popular Richmomd Hotel and right next door to one of my favourite coffee stops, Ameriesko.

Genuinely not knowing what to expect and having never been to an all female spa before, I was intrigued to arrive at the locked door before being buzzed in by Lead Yogi Georgi. There is an immediate calmness as you descend down into this amazing underground stone cave – and it feels positively tropical!

A very happy and relaxed Georgi greeted me and started the tour – and although the space is not huge, it is presented beautifully with its floor to ceiling stonework and perfect finishing touches. There is a proper, fully functioning gym, a hot and cold yoga studio, a fabulous Spa room with two lunge pools and a Roman bath, beauty therapy rooms and a dedicated manicure and pedicure spa and a hairdressing salon…

I was lucky enough to be booked in for a Venus treatment, which I have to say was among one of the best Spa experiences I have ever had, delivered by the very lovely Kayleigh. This top to toe treatment included; Hot stone full body massage (1 hour), Nourishing facial (30 mins), Luxury manicure & pedicure and if it’s a special occasion – blow dry and full face make up. I was booked in for the first 3 treatments and to say it was heavenly is an understatement!

My skin was glowing, my body completely relaxed and my mind totally rejuvenated – and it was good to meet Curtaor Grace who popped in to say hello with her gorgeous little girl.

This is a fabulous idea, executed incredibly well. It’s a gorgeous space (I especially loved the Spa with its fabulous Roman bath) and the team are delightful. I will definitely be booking again with some Chester ladies, and the added bonus is that we can then choose from Liverpool’s amazing range of eateries for Afternoon Tea and a couple of glasses of fizz!

Sounds like the most perfect day…

Thank you to Georgi, Grace and to Kayleigh for an amazing experience, and one that I can’t wait to enjoy again and again.
